Question 5 of the Q&A is incorrect and should be disregarded. The Objectives and Tasks section of the application must be completed per the step-by-step instructions provided on page 42 of the RFP.
Question: I tried to submit my application but was unable to do so because I had not answered question 12 in the Program –Specific Questions section. How do I get past this error?
Answer: A global email was released through Grants Gateway with the following information:
As you know the deadline for submitting your application is July 21st at noon. In order to submit your application, all questions in the Program-Specific Questions section of application must be completed. Question 12, instructs applicants to upload the Reimbursement Schedule in the Pre-Submission Uploads section of Grants Gateway. In addition to the upload, applicants must also enter an integer in the answer field in the Program-Specific Questions section. Applicants will be unable to submit their application without entering an integer in this field. For simplicity, we recommend entering in the number 1 in this field. This information has also been added to the OTDA Internet in the same location the RFP can be found.
Question: I am trying to submit my application and am unable to do so. I checked for global errors and do not have any. What should I do?
Answer: You are likely logged into Grants Gateway with a user role that does not have permissions to submit an application. Please refer to the chart below to ensure your user role has the permissions you need to submit an application. Please note, to identify what user role you are logged in with, go to the Home screen and look under your name in the top left hand corner Welcome box.”
The purpose of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) Venture IV Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure the services of eligible organizations that can assist OTDA in addressing the employment and training needs of SNAP applicants and recipients. SNAP recipients who receive TANF funded public assistance are not eligible to participate based on federal rules. This initiative will combine eligible private non-federal funding sources with 50% Federal SNAP E&T funds to expand work focused education and training services to low income households receiving SNAP benefits in New York State. The services funded under this initiative are those of the SNAP Venture IV program.
