Federal Government Shutdown

On November 6, 2025, a U.S. District Court ordered the federal government to issue full November SNAP benefit payments to eligible households. New York has begun issuing full SNAP benefits to all eligible households. Some New Yorkers could have access to their benefits as soon as Sunday, November 9, and all are expected to receive their full benefits by the end of the week.
