The Bridge Program offers Microsoft certifications designed to provide Family Assistance (FA) recipients and other TANF eligible individuals with the skills necessary to obtain employment. Available certification through the Bridge program includes the following:
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): a certification program that enables participants to obtain Information Technology (IT) skills in Microsoft Office application software. The MOS certification features Web-based pretests, and program-specific certification exams that are a benefit to underserved populations in economically challenged communities.
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): a certification program offering advanced level IT training to eligible participants. MTA validates the fundamental technology knowledge that individuals need to start building a career in Microsoft technologies. Certifications include: Software Development, Web Development, Windows Development, Windows Server Administration, Networking, Database Administration and Security Administration.
