New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program Reports

The Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance is required to produce reports on the operations of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The following jurisdictions were allocated funding for emergency rental assistance directly from the federal government and opted to participate in the New York Emergency Rental Assistance Program: Albany County, Dutchess County, Erie County, Nassau County, New York City (includes Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond), Niagara County, Oneida County, Orange County, Rockland County, Saratoga County, Suffolk County, Westchester County, City of Buffalo, Town of Babylon, Town of Brookhaven, Town of Huntington, and Town of North Hempstead. The following jurisdictions that originally opted to administer their own programs have certified to the State that they have obligated all of the funds that they received directly from the Federal government and are now participating in the State-administered program. Residents of these jurisdictions may be eligible for assistance from the State-administered program as of the dates noted below.

  • City of Yonkers — January 20, 2022
  • Onondaga County — February 9, 2022
  • Monroe County (including Rochester) — May 31, 2022
